| March 30th, 2007 visit the concert by a jazz keyboardist and composer Joe Zawinul at Salle Grappelli, Nice. Born in Austria, he made an important contribution into the development of jazz music, adding an electronic piano and early synthesizer sound to it. The musician was named the best pianist and best keyboardist for several times while his band Weather Report (where he played together with Miroslav Vitous and Wayne Shorter) also got lots of favourable references. He is currently working with his another band, Zawinul Syndicate. Joe Zawinul is one of the world’s famous pioneers of jazz, known for his experiments with jazz and rock’n’roll music, so one thing you shouldn’t miss when coming to Nice is his concert. |
