The Festival of Sacred Music |

| One of the best known Nice summer music events is Musique Sacrée – The Festival of Sacred Music, this year taking place June 16th – 24th. This is the event where architecture is united with wonderful music by such acknowledged composers as Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Couperin and 20th-century French composer Messiaen. Their pieces are performed at the city’s imposing baroque churches of the old town, including the Cathedrale Suite-Reparate, and other venues like Eglise Saint Pierre D’Arene and Theatre De La Photo et de L’Image. The main attraction of the festival are also organ and choral pieces. |
