Nice Musical Nights |

| Those who have never been to Nice Musical Nights festival can’t even imagine what a wonderful atmosphere the festival has. Gardens in bloom, picturesque views over the city, and charm of the cloister add to the impression created by wonderful music. Les Nuits Musicales de Nice festival was first organised in 1957. Then, after three years of interruption, it again started its work in 1993. 2007 is therefore the festival’s 50th anniversary. This year the festival takes place July 20th – August 12th at the Opéra de Nice and the Clôitre du Monastère de Cimiez. There will be 20 concerts played, featuring such skillful performers as the Orchestra Philharmonique de Nice, the Ensemble Baroque de Nice, the Orchestra of the Young people of the Mediterranean and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and others.
The artistic director for the festival is Jacques Taddei. |
